Feels good to fly again

After having been up only once in the last 5 months, it felt really good to get airborne again. I drove to Livermore and met Andy, did some pattern work, then flew out towards tracy and did some steep turns, stalls and hood work. Basically I did everything I will do for my test, and Andy says I’m within the tolerances. I’d still like to get better though - I still don’t feel I’m 100% in control of everything 100% of the time.

The good news is I’m re-certified to fly solo and am on the home stretch now. I’ve got a few things I want to practice by myself, and a few things I need to do with Andy (cross country flight, some night landings), and then I’ll be good to go for the test! (once I’m happy with my accuracy in the maneuvers).

P.S. You can see runway 25R at Livermore airport in the photo above!
